You could try looking on here, or some similar sites, but I have no idea how accurate or up to date they are.

Many Tks .

No I’ve not spoke to anyone just yet but will
Look into it .
I get the feeling it’s become increasingly hard over the years to find anywhere with laws on noise and walkers

You really need to get in touch with people that know the local scene and are experienced in dealing with access issues, it is easy to encounter problems that will wear you down even when using perfectly legally.

I've done Greenlaning in 4x4 in Yorkshire and Derbyshire and even when we know we have legitimate access confirmed by rights of way officers in the local councils. We've been hassled by land owers blocking our vehicles in with tractors, calling the Police who have no idea on the the laws in this regard, received section 34 tickets & section 59 warnings that have needed to be struck out by the magistrate.

Interesting the TRF have a far better reputation than GLASS, even with 4x4 greenlaners, GLASS just fold every time when they encounter resistance. GLASS were useless to us, but fortunately a couple of our 4x4 guys were also Trail Riders got some good advice and print outs from the TRF that made defending the case easy. Use the TRF knowledge and expertise.

The home page is http://www.trf.org.uk.

There is an Essex TRF group - https://trail.trf.org.uk/local-groups-map/?page=Ci...

(I hate it when I notice the typo only when the post is quoted. smile)
