Hi Guys - i'm thinking of a change. Can some one outline the pluses and minuses of such a move, thanks for help.

Drive one and find out (it's very subjective).

From my point of view, the t350:

- Is slower
- Much better handling
- Much smoother engine, especially at low revs with linear power delivery
- more cramped in the cabin
- has 2 less seats
- will cost less to run (I think)
- Is better on fuel
- Sounds worse (when both are warm)
- Has a firmer ride (on std shocks)
- Has better ground clearance
- Gets more attention from people
- Has less comfortable seats
- Has better, much 'newer' instrumentation (especially at night!).
- Has an unproven engine (well not to Cerbie mileages)

You missed one DeeJay - the Targa has semi-wind-in-the-hair motoring. I agree with most of your other points especially the seats which I find particularly uncomfortable. I asked for Tuscan seats to be fitted to my new Sag, but TVR refused, saying type approval did not allow it. Guess I'll have to retro fit them.

Around Cadwell today the Cerberas and T350s seemed equal in a straight line thrash. Twisties performance depended on tyre sympathy and driver skill.

I suspect in hands of a good driver the T350 would beat a Cerbera on the track. On the road is irrelevant - they're both bl00dy fast and attract attention. IMO the T350 is a fresher design and attracts more attention, but the Cerbera is a classic shape and makes a nice rude noise.

Am having similar thoughts myself Fraz. The Cerb is just wonderfull, but needs to be changed soon. If I had another Cerb, it wouldn't meet my expecations. Would love a Sagaris, but the piggy bank is empty. The T350 is (alomst) the natural sucessor to the Cerb.
