2013 (63) Touareg - second hand purchase?

Hi all,

Our search for a decent family car with good towing capabilities continues...... (Volvo XC70 last week ended up a disappointment).

Can anyone advise things to look out for on the following:

Obviously it's a private sale, so no warranty, etc.

Obvious expensive repairs are the air suspension and I'm guessing the electronic damping - but both of these are good for towing.

We're coming from a 2006 A6 Avant with adjustable air suspension so I do have experience (and it's just starting to play up with 126k on the clock!).

Any thoughts of owners/mechanics, etc. would be great.
