e46 ribbon door mirror

Hi
Have a (possible) fault with the mirrors not working, been suggested it might be the drivers mirror causing the fault as its the ribbon type connector
anyone with a spare i can buy/borrow/beg/steal to test/try?
Am willing to pay if it works but dont want to spend £100+ just to try
Any advice/help would be appreciated
