I have had this happen twice now and I dont inderstand it at all.

I had burnt new stevesprint maps to to new chips and installed them in my ECU. All going well and engine runs and performs well with at late 450 map.

BUT twoce now after a few weeks the rev limit has dropped from 6200 to 5403 as shown by rovergauge.

Very odd how and why would that happen any odeas ?

Seems odd....Not noticed that on the updated 400 map you burnt for me - although I don’t tend to push up against it all the time ;-)
Not sure the enhancements are noticeable, but liking a bit more noise on the overrun.
Cheers

On my 500 chip, Sometimes mine shows 6188, other times 5703.
Blitzracing looked at my downloaded bin file on tuner pro & my rpm limit is actually set at 5800 so my experience is rovergauge can show some odd results for rpm Limit. I'm sure it's not actually changing.

Ahh very interesting.

I have tunerpro so will get the chip out and have a look at it and also "save" the bin file in Rovergauge and look at that in tunerpro too.
Will report back......

Went to the car to download the bin file plug in and Rovergauge showed rev limit at 6188.

No no changes made and now I wonder what thats all about.

Your first post said 5403. Did you actually mean 5703?

If so you have had a 5703 & 6188, & these are the same as my spurious rovergauge rpm limit numbers.

The 6200 may then be your correct limit which you can confirm with tuner pro.
