I'm rather behind with the whole 992 info thing - is there any news on the engines? I've read they're being bumped by 20 and 30 bhp respectively, but is there any other clever tech we know of going into them? For instance to reduce lag and alleviate that annoying hesitation when you do a change at max revs with the manual 'box?

We know nothing...plenty of speculation but no fact.

The only thing I would describe as being close to fact was the CEO of Porsche saying hybrid tech will be introduced in 992.2 and will be introduced in "the most powerful 911 ever". I assume that means a Turbo S with electric motors...a bit like the top end Panamera.

I'd imagine all models will prob get the power hike you suggest. Wouldn't it be nice if the performance increase the marketing people want was achieved through weight saving instead of power increase.

Whatever it was it was a pain, felt like it was coming off boost for half a sec or so.
