Hi,

I have Napster on my iPhone and when using through the USB cable on Apple airplay it is really slow ? Shows on the screen what is playing but if you forward the track it takes a while to change. Also selecting any of the playlists takes an eternity

My car is a 2018 GTS

Any help appreciated

Napster?? I didn't know this still was a thing! I can remember downloading stuff from there to feed my Gen 1 iPod biggrin Happy times!!

What about other music streaming? Is it slow as well, or only Napster? Try the usual firmware and software updates if you haven't already.

Could the problem be with your phone or getting a decent 4G signal?

I have the same as you - 991.2 GTS with Apple Carplay, and providing I'd added playlists to Napster on my phone beforehand, they appear pretty much straight away when I connect it all up using a standard cable. Once I'm in the Napster app, selecting playlists takes no more than a second, and likewise, next/previous track is similarly responsive - it's not immediate but no longer than a second or two.

fyi, I'm still using an iPhone 6 and O2 are my phone provider.

I reckon it must be the phone which is an iPhone 6 on EE, I am due an upgrade soon so will see if that sorts the problem
