them. As much as i dislike his politics, he has taken a stand on Iraq that no one else has had the guts to.

Remember we lost about 50 troops because of his invasion of Kuwait and then Galloway flies over and comes out with that, that's why most people hate him apart from the mainly 16000 Muslims who just voted for him perhaps.
Can you imagine some British MP flying over to meet Hitler after WW2 and saying that ?

After being lambasted for this from all quarters when he got back he tried to wriggle out of it by saying he was talking about the Iraqi people but he had shown his true colours.
No way back after that.
BTW, being ex-forces myself, I abhor some of Mr Galloways actions and statements.
If however, we are going to "shoot him and send his wife the bill for the bullet", that makes us a bad as Saddam Hussein.
People like him should be allowed to condemn themselves with their own mouth. The fact that enough people agree with him to elect him is just an example of democracy in action.

And when was he cosying up to Saddam? (serious question). Just wondering if it was when we were selling him arms and chemicals and stuff.
