Looking to replace my archaeic dumb trainer now the nights are starting to draw in frown

Looking for a direct drive smart trainer to be used with zwift/TR, budget of around £500 but will stretch to around £750 if it’s justifiable with some man maths.

What’s everyone’s recommendation?

Afraid I don't have a recommendation myself (I've also got an old dumb trainer) but very interested to hear what others suggest.

I bought a Tacx Flux and am really happy with it. I suggest you read DCRainmakers reviews and see what you like the sound of, he’s basically tested them all way more thoroughly than any magazie

If anyone is after a Tacx Flux, I noticed in Halfords yesterday that they’re 20% off.

If you can afford it then Neo or Kickr.

If not then refurbished Kickr Snap or a Tacx Vortex.

I'd avoid the Flux as they aren't the most reliable (I had 3 fail within 10 hours of use)

I think kickr core is the answer this year - basically silent - and rock solid.
