The showdown begins, although it could be a bit of a damp squib. Haslam has a massive lead and whilst Dixon is throwing all caution to the wind, it’s looking a bit of a forlorn case.
On a personal note, my team mate from the Oulton endurance race (a few weeks ago with No Limits) is running in SS1000. Good to know that he’s already started making serious dents in my spares package after a high side in Q2.
PS - Hardy racing has a lovely ZX10RR SuperStock bike up for grabs, would be a good buy for anyone wanting to get serious on track next year.

Bit harsh on Schwantz, he himself admits that, but he was also in the position to take advantage. Just as Rainey was in 92.
Haslam deserves it, but have never been able to warm to him, the idiotic leg sticking out crap doesnt help.
I suppose you are a fan of Rossi then too? Haslam deserves it, but have never been able to warm to him, the idiotic leg sticking out crap doesnt help.

Lol, does Rossi stick his leg out almost horizontally?
No.
Does him doing such a stupid move actually cause people to crash like Dixon almost did at Cadwell? No.
You have to agree Haslam's leg nonsense is almost dangerous and I also think it's deliberate.

A racer using the rules to his advantage did not nearly cause a crash. Dixon, whom I also rate, made a bold move on a corner he knew Haslam would do such a move with his leg on as he had been doing it all race.
He nearly caused his own crash regardless of what Haslam did.
There is no rule about how far you can or cannot stick your leg out, much like sadly, there isn't a rule about how much b

Not entirely correct.
ks you can spout on a forum and still be allowed a log in. 'race direction have spoken to the series leader about the way in which he dangles his leg and how it could risk breaking the rules in certain circumstances.
“The technique [leg dangle] in its extreme risks breaching regulation B2.12, that states during a competition, riders must not manoeuvre in a foul, unfair or dangerous manner,” explains race boss Stuart Higgs.'

There needs to be waaayyyy more definition over it either writing in into or out of the rulebook so there can be a clear line over what is and isn't acceptable
I’d like Dixon to win it, but that’s purely down to me having bought one of the team’s old road race bikes. Haslam, has been waving his leg around like this for years, I remember how stupid it looked a few years back at Donington into Melbourne Loop. However, this doesn’t mean that he’s breaking any rules. The complaints at Cadwell were a bit OTT IMO, as Haslam always waves his leg as far as he can.
They’ll never ban leg waving and not sure if anyone saw, but Lorenzo came close to doing it for the first time ever last weekend at Misano when he was getting a move on trying to close down Dovi in the latter stages of the race. Certainly there was a foot off the peg and hanging free at one point on the track each lap.

Oh dear Tom, did I rattle your little cage did I?
Haslam does the doctors dangle to extremes.
I ave no issue with others doing it, plenty of others do and it is not an issue, but when your leg is sticking out almost horizontally, when it never used to yeras ago, it is clearly a deliberate act.
No issue with Leon, I hope he wins the title, he deserves it, and it will be funny watching him get mullered by Rea next year.

As above, is his to lose now.
Feel for him a bit, as when he does get the title it will always be - "it was only cos Shakey wasnt there....."
I don't really - nobody else seemed capable of giving him some proper competition! Feel for him a bit, as when he does get the title it will always be - "it was only cos Shakey wasnt there....."
I'm not a fan of the leg waving b*llocks either - it just looks tw*ttish to me. Maybe Leon gets away with it because his legs are short!
