Mine is cracked beyond repair, quoted around £300 from TVR are there any other options ?

£300 does not sound too bad for a manifold. You could call the breakers or Joospeed.

Was thinking if there where any performance manifolds avaliable and get both done at the same time and might last a bit longer than the standard.

Oh I see, sorry I misunderstood!

Talk to Joolz, he has abetter idea than anyone. I guess you would have to get one made, if you do try Haywood and Scott in Basildon they are secone to none.

Would a manifold crack cause a high idle ? Wount run below about 1200 rpm, stalls otherwise

There's no aftermarket ones yet. There's talk of a 3 piece one but it's not ready yet/still in developement or something like that.
300ish quid is the going rate for a manifold but bank on at least a few hours labour to change it as I've been told the engine needs to be lifted to squeeze them in there.

I've heard also that its a few hours labour, so its not a cheap job.
