Browsing sites like this (PH I mean) without strong anti-script protection is asking for trouble.

Same issue that's been raised on this thread - https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&... - since July this year.

Only way of stopping it completely will be to install a decent adblocker as, based on the thread linked above, the usual response from HM will be that it's a rogue ad, they can't replicate the issue but will continue to look into it.

Of course this ignores the fact that if HM hadn't flooded PH with the spammy Outbrain & Taboola clickbait links & kept a better eye on who manages their ads this wouldn't be an issue.

Thank you for reporting this, Colin!

I'll forward this on to the ads team.

Many thanks.

Just had a few this evening again. It’s been okay for a while so I was surprised to be them again.
Back in the summer I did download the recommended ad blocker but it wasn’t so good on my iPhone.
Hey ho!

Yep, happening again tonight. Run various script blocker things on the desktop but iOS is limited and it shouldn’t come to that anyway. I accept PH needs to be funded but this ain’t cool.

Thanks Colin, I'll pass this on again.

We had hoped we'd solved it, but apparently not!

Thanks
