Pipe diameter???

Would one of you kind souls please measure the interior diameter of the air intake pipe that passes down the LHS of the chims engine bay please, the one that runs up ultimately to the plenum, and let me know what it is.

Is there a difference?

I am actually seeing if its the same size as the heater hose that runs down the left hand side of my 3000M bay, as I am struggling to find one. Saw a picture under the chims bonnets and thought that pipe and the 90 degree bend might do the trick, just need to see if the diameters are near. No chance of getting the hose for the M, but much better chance of finding a pipe of a Chim!!!

The engine air intake pipe is roughly 3" bore. If it's ventilation ducting you're after, I would have thought any flexible pipe about the right diameter would do. There are plenty of places that sell bog standard ducting consisting of a flexible outer over a spiral wire core, for example Merlin Motorsport or Demon Tweeks.
