lost hazard light button under upholstery!

Please Help.
I was about to leave my car, took the face off my stereo off and somehow managed to knock the hazard light button / swith. it dropped off and fell down in between a gap in the upholstery right next to where the window switch is.
I have just spent an hour trying to find it and think it's gone kind of under the handbrake area.
Does anybody know how to take that section of the upholstery off to be able to locate the lost hazard switch.
Alternatively
Does anybody know where I can get a new one from.
I appreciate the description of the location where I think I have lost the switch is slightly ambiguous so if anybody feels they may be able to help me then please do get in touch by phone for a more accurate description of where I am talking about.

Firstly I should say GET THE BIBLE.
There are screws either side of the front of the centre unit and three screws under the small pad in the rear trinket bin. With those five screws out you can manoeuvre the unit a fair way. If you want to take it off you must also remove the gear knob. Small grub screw at the front lower of the knob.
