red fluid question

Ok, at the risk of sounding like a numptie, whatever that is, on the underside of my car, from the clutch slave cylinder back to the last lateral chassis rail, I've found a few red drips. My first thought was this had to be gearbox oil, but I use Comma semi-synthetic which is more of a yellow colour. Any ideas ?

I thought Ultima urine turned redish only after eating a Ferrari. Yes, tomato sauce... Molto bene!

Can't think of anything that colour except hydrolic fluid, some ATF, or a type of brake fluid. Is your petrol red or pink? Could it be from the slave

could it be threadlock that has dripped down when installing the driveshafts or something? it stays as a red liquid until excluded from air.

Maybe it is gearbox oil...but the engine just hammers the tranny with so much HP that it makes the gears bleed, which reddens the gearbox oil? ;-)
(or more seriously, maybe the yellow synth stuff changes colors as it gets used...although red, that'd be a new one for oil but maybe someone used a red crayon all over the inside of the 'box, heh)

Or engine coolant blown all the way back there, the same way rain falls nearly at the horizontal when the wind is fast enough? ;-)
(well at least some coolants are red...)

Is it thin and watery, or thick and viscous?
