Bluetooth and Spotify into 997 Cayman
Discussion
Basically you use a bluetooth receiver that plugs into the aux port - cheap as chips. You select aux then connect your i phone to the receiver by bluetooth thereafter using all the controls on the iphone apart from volume and if you have it the in built phone.
I have the same on my 987.2 and it works quite well.
The 12v socket is just used to power the receiver.

JL Audio Bluetooth Audio Receiver MBT-RX £41.66 GBP
Dension Gateway Lite MOST GWL1MO1 - Porsche iPod Box For Gateway £164.17 GBP
This is what I bought for my 987.1 Boxster from Car Communications in Blackburn. They will also fit. It emulates a CD changer.
I just stream everything from my phone, but on a long journey on my own, I think it works fine

If you have the usb and aux socket in the arm rest, this just plugs into both and works well (lots of others makes are available).
The phone will connect to this for audio and the PCM for calls (if you have Bluetooth in the car spec).
