Anyone recognise these?

They have MW01-L. 8A-1 marked on them. 62 mm spacing for the calliper, axle diameter is 24/25 mm. The stanchions are 45mm x 380 long and the lowers are also 380 mm.

Any suggestions?

The fork leg looks very short in that pic. Is it compressed?

Just searched - the Wemoto web site has diameter & length of replacement fork tubes. 1st gen Fireblade stanchions, for example, are 45mm x 574mm and CBR600 F1 stanchions are 43mm x 587mm, so 380mm does seem short.

That's the best pic I have of my Fireblades forks.
It was a 97.

Oh, hang on! Did you mean that there is 380mm of stanchion above the fork leg? If so, I'll go with BN and my first guess - Fireblade.

Thanks all. I don't have the forks at hand but I'll double check against Fireblade forks.

I bought them listed as VTR forks but they're not them.

Thanks again

PS anyone got Firestorm VTR fork lowers for sale?

Definitely early FireBlade forks as others have already mentioned. Honda styled them to mimic upside forks but liked the fact that normal way up forks have all the light alloy bits attached to the wheel (un-suspended) and the heavy stanchions attached to the bike. They very fat because they oddly contain 30mm cartridges which is big even today.

Why do you want some Firestorm lowers? All the paint falling off is a common feature of Hondas of the era. Just get yours blasted and coated?

Cheers moto. I've got a 93 VFR and I'm planning some winter projects.

Firestorm fork lowers are a straight fit and gives me the choice of a a few different calipers.
