Hi Guys, I’m not one to usually ask this but I’ve spent upwards of £120 on HPI Checks this week and think I’ve finally found the perfect car. The only thing between me and buying it is that I don’t want to spend another £20 on yet another bleeding HPI Check!!!
I know some of you in the business have free access so could someone please hook me up? I only want to know the outstanding finance mainly? Thanks in advance!!

You are buying a 15 plate car and won't stump up the tiny bit of money for the hpi check? Loser.
Oh yes, schools aren't in on a Sunday.

£19.95 for outstanding finance
Fair enough - but a quick 2 minute Google suggests you can get a HPI check with outstanding finance for around £8. You've been mugged by yourself.Could have got 5 full checks here for £19.99: https://totalcarcheck.co.uk/Prices

Either way I refuse to pay for any more when we most likely have a member who can quickly search for me

What happens when the check comes back with outstanding finance? You're back to square one and will need another HPI check on another car.Either way I refuse to pay for any more when we most likely have a member who can quickly search for me

What happens if the nice Pistonheader says there's no outstanding finance, but a few months down the line of ownership you find out there is outstanding finance? Not a favourable position to be in.
You've already paid £120 - what's the difference in another single £8 HPI check or 5 for £20?
Just so we’re clear, are you buying this from a dealer ? If so, they should provide you with a HPI check.
If not, you’re very unlikely to find someone willing to HPI a car they’ve never had any dealings with for someone they’ve never encountered before in their lives.
It’s not that PH doesn’t want to help, but if you’re shelling out for a car privately I.e. not financed, then a HPI should be on the list of things you’re doing anyway with the money you’ve got saved, then as mentioned above, ask the seller to reduce the price by £20.
Or ask the seller to supply you with a HPI ?

And just in case it hasn't been fully understood, asking for a favour in your first post is unpalatable for most.
PH tends to be a kindly lot when the poster has a bit of history.
As above, get your dealer to reassure you with the HPI check, post some pictures of your new car, get a bit of history on here and then ask a favour.
