Dear All,
I know very little about cars but am learning. (My most advanced job on my cayman s so far is replacing the air filter).
Please put me out of my misery and frustration. I have noticed that paint has appeared to have peeled off on the spokes of my alloy wheels to reveal (a shock to me) - plastic! I want to make the repair but all the tutorials I have found look like all the wheels have spokes made of steel? aluminium? anyway, they all look like metal. The question is, I would really like to know how I should go about the repair and get an insight of how the wheels are constructed - are these normal alloy wheels?
Many thanks in advance and to everyone here who has unknowingly helped me so far.
All the best,
Grant

Your saying your wheels are made from plastic? I don't think so, steel, ali, mag but not plastic.

Is it a full size car you can drive... or a little model one which you push around and go "brmmm... brmmm" ?

That looks like a highly dodgy refurb to me. Get them to somewhere decent like Lepsons.
