What's the ceramic coating like?
I had my 720S fully ppf'd but not completely convinced by it.
I’m impressed by the ceramic coating - I wanted something that would make the ongoing maintenance of keeping the car clean very easy. With the coating on, it takes me about 15 minutes to quickly wash the car and it comes up looking great with very little effort.I had my 720S fully ppf'd but not completely convinced by it.
I’ve not had ppf because I’ve seen some cars where is very noticeable - that said, Mark at the retailers, showed me some examples of the latest ppf films and it does look much better.

I do think that the 570 is the best looking McLaren of them all - just something about it that makes me go “Yeah, I’d like one of those”.
Some of the others are technological marvels but they just leave me cold.
Lovely car OP
Thanks - and the great thing is I think they look better in the flesh than in pictures - epic carSome of the others are technological marvels but they just leave me cold.

Mine had the ceramic coating from new, it was starting to lose its effect after 18 months so I've refreshed it using a CarPro jewelling polish called Essence Plus, specifically designed for ceramic coatings. Put it on with a DA polished and its brought the finish up beautifully.
The blade silver colour doesn't have the drama of the bright colours so needs to be sparkling to show off the lines.
