Hello to all from our Mancesse in Indiana....

So here I am at the end of my first week in the states and all I can say is ....
I just want to be able to change gear of my own volition!!
Yep you guessed it my hire car whilst I'm out here is an automatic Chevy classic. It was quite a novelty at first (in fact it took me ten minutes in the airport to work out how to drive it)... sat on the wrong side of the car, on the wrong side of the road,
cruising down the interstate, listening to american anthems on the radio was quite cool.

However, now I'm a bit fed up of getting in the pasenger side, pawing the door trying to change gear with the wrong hand, banging my head on the door everytime I go to look in the non-existant rear view mirror and generally not being able to accelerate until the car wants to change gear!!!

Surely its Mancette? Told you the cars were crap didn't I? Nevermind, you can get a better one next time hopefully. Plus I'm sure you can show them how to play pool. And how to speak properly. And teach them our cute little phrases from little old England
