An infantile and childish heading for a post I agree, but it largely it sums up how I feel having had to have nearly 8 weeks off my bike after an accident.

I managed to part company with the vehicle on a track day at 85 mph and broke eight ribs, punctured a lung, suffered kidney failure and subsequent pneumonia. Worst of all I managed to dislocate a thumb and that’s taken the longest time to heal.

Anyhow tomorrow the cast comes off and I shall be immediately hurtling around the countryside on the spare bike in celebration - In summary, the older we get the longer it takes to heal. Best of all the more irresponsible we get. Sadly, at 52 my wife has now banned me from track days. But on the plus side more time to go touring with the boys

Good attidue getting back on after a crash but speaking from experience you're safer on track.

Pushing on, on the road only ever ends on way.
