I HAD ACCIDENT WITH IT, STUPID ME! IN MY EAGERNESS TO TEST DRIVE THE CAR DROVE OFF WITH IT ON THE BOOT. CONSEQUENCE IT FELL OFF AND ANOTHER VEHICLE DROVE OVER IT.

IT COULD BE REPAIRED. ARE NEW OR SECOND HAND ONES OUT THERE?
IM IN AUSTRALIA. CANT SLIP DOWN TO BLACKPOOL AND PICK ONE UP

Steve Strange was advertising one for ages in eBay. Not checked if it's still about. He's a breaker I think in Lancashire.

Oh dear......Well having experienced a targa panel flying off on the motorway at 70mph whilst raining I would suggest getting your old one mended...I tried other 350i panels...a 280i panel...a 400SE panel and finally a 390SE panel...The 390SE was the only one that fitted but is very tight which concerns me as it pushes the A pillars forward....so will be repairing my old one ..which incidentally was also run over...

Also when I looked for panels some people wanted over £200 + postage....(You know where you can shove that)

Good advice - they tend to fit the car they were off. Unless aroad train went over it best to repair.

Colin on the Facebook Wedge buy and sell forum also has two targa panels for sale, although according to the advert the price is £123,456 which does seem a little steep!!!!!!

Thanks so much for the advice from all of you . The concenses seems to be one roof dose not fit all, as is often the case with these cars. I have decided to repair it.

I tried 5 different panels and none fitted right on a friends car, so if you can best to get it fixed. Also the 400SE ones are totally different.

Interesting. I'm going to check the 280 and 450 roofs on the opposite car to see how different they are.
