Anyone see Muller keeping his Astra going after being 90 degrees to the track after Plato "tapped" him?

Yup, a brilliant piece of handling. Obviously no love lost there between Muller and 5th Gear's finest!

And VBH looking very hot with lots of eye make up!

Much better viewing than F1 imho

Yep.. fantastic viewing that. Nothing like some trash-talk, bad blood and friendly love-taps on track to liven up things. SOOOOOO much better to watch than F1

Agree Mullers driving was astounding in collecting it all up and keeping the lead. These guys are all nuts, going 4 abreast into corners. TC are always great fun to watch.

Absolutely brilliant. Anyone catch it on vid?

Muller's Astra was pitched fully sideways yet somehow the Frenchman could draw on his many years experience and somehow he managed not to spin but continue with his lap, with Plato still behind him.

Whilst the VX Racing driver described Plato as ‘f***ing dangerous' to circuit commentator Alan Hyde after the race, the SEAT driver elaborated further to Crash.net Radio about the incident.

“He basically drove into me,” said Plato. “It's as simple as that. I sold him a dummy, got my nose inside him coming up on the inside to the chicane and he decided he wanted the piece of road I was on and law of physics states that can't happen.

“We weren't on the brakes, we were still on the throttle,” continues Jason, “and he just chopped my nose off. If I want to get past you now I have two options, either I go round you or I just push you out the way. And if I push you out the way what's going to happen?”

Post race the incident was brought up, but to no avail. “Interestingly enough, they went up there and made a big song and dance to the officials, ‘this is dreadful, Jason's dangerous;' the officials just threw them out, don't be stupid, what do you want him to do, hit the hyperspace button? What can I do?”

Yep! Just got round to watching it this evening. Stunning stuff as ever! Muller's been doing some sort of drifting classes hasn't he?!

Oh yeah, just remembered, doesn't he clean up at the Chamonix ice racing each year?

If Haze reads this, my Hondas are doing rather well! Where are all your Vauxhalls then?

Just a shame he couldn't keep his ego in his trousers in the second race re: the passing under yellows incident.

I know Vauxhall is not doing to well at the moment, but the lads in the team expected it this season. As the Honda's have been getting quicker. Oh well hope they can turn the results round at Brands.

Shame there's only a dozen cars in it at the moment. World series at Silverstone today was much healthier with a 25 car grid and 6 manufacturers. And Plato got on the podium too, coming second in race 2 to former BTCC champ Rickard Rydell.
