Hi,

Stupidly reversed over a large rock - MOT is due in 2 weeks... will I fail?!?! Any ideas on cost to repair would be helpful in case it immediately needs work to pass MOT.

Thanks

New sill needed I suspect, that filler probably extends further out than can be seen. The other side may also be in a similar state, giving the car the rigidity of a wet paper bag.

So what? Is it an MOT failure? (I suspect not?)

What? Why? Is it not accident damage rather than rust?

Better off asking an MOT station but as there is no hole or sharp edges I'd have thought you'd be ok.
That could be pulled out by any competent bodyshop.
Price would depend on many factors not least of which is your location

Nothing came up on HPI check and nothing disclosed when sold but the door handle came off a few weeks ago and was told that there had potentially been a bodged job to get it back on as many screws missing off the door so doesn’t surprise me!

Is it filler or seam sealer/underseal?

No sharp edges so hoping it should be ok! Location is Manchester and going to do a ring around and see if anybody can check it over and quote me, fingers crossed it isn’t too much 🙈
