What oil does the 986 Boxster S use?

Hi,

Porsche specifies Mobil 1 for use in the boxster exclusively. The grade you choose will depend upon your driving style and the avg. temps in the area you live and those in which you intend to drive the car.

Thanks Jim. Just wondering whether to keep the top up bottle of 0/30 from my BMW.

Ours has had Castrol put in by porsche at every service so far. I think it's 5/40 but i'm not sure. Or is it 10/50, maybe 0/50 oh i don't know. Manual should say though, also on a sticker under the rear bootlid.
