After a 14 year break from TVR ownership I have now returned to the fold buying a 1996 Chimaera 400HC in silver. I am loving it, the sound, the drive, the endless tinkering and my 13 year old Son is very taken with the car and is already laying claim to it if anything happens to me!

We both went to the Neil Garner open day on Saturday and had a great time, also bought some shiny bits for the interior.

Frustrating that you can't buy Leven alloy bits anymore? I have the old style heater knob which I would like to hide but can't find the alloy replacement part (BSK-1) for love or money, anyone know where I can source one?

Ah ok, sorry, bought some bits off them a few years ago. Dont bother with the rosejointed drop links, mine started chattering after about 18 months. Will be going back to standard ones when i redo the suspension.

Thanks, glad it’s not just me! I did point out that driving the TVR was now probably the riskiest thing I do so told him I may be taking it with me

I thought the same and did ask when at the show. Ended up buying one of there handbrake handles from the stand which looks nice but not yet fitted but no heater knobs.
