F10 M5 - reversing camera

Looking at a car without one - can it be retrofitted?

Yes. Either DIY http://forum.bmw5.co.uk/topic/132636-diy-retrofit-... or a decent installer.

However, if it doesn't have camera, it seems it was very lightly specced, why not go for one with more options that suit you, rather than blow 5-1000 pounds retrofitting something, unless it is a perfect car/price?

Thanks for that - very helpful - yes its a well specced LCI car - just missing the camera!

Seems to me that if the car is the one you want the lack of a reversing camera is a pretty weak reason not to buy it..... first world problems, 😊

It has rear parking sensors which work well, I find I never really look at my reversing camera and I definitely wouldn’t miss it if I didn’t have it.

Sorry, it’s not a well spec’d car, it’s an LCi with a couple of options. See my reply to your other thread.

My M5 has the camera, my 535 doesn't, to be fair I don't think you use it, but in saying that the more extras the better for this type of car I suppose.

Wait for the car with all the spec you want, don't rush in, you'll enjoy it more when you find the right car.
