The 3000M has arrived!!!!!!!!!!!
Discussion
Well, back in December I bought a 3000M from a friend of mine and today we finally got it home!!
Pics from today..
James bouught this car from David Gerald fifteen years ago and during his time as director for Swift Motorsport rebuilt the beauty (chassis, diff engine etc etc) before leaving it outside his house in Noss Mayo for a couple of years!
Feeling guilty he put it into a garage 18 months ago and said do what needs doing! £1,800 later the car was shoved in a barn and since then hasn't turned a wheel since!
Today we pumped up the tyres, connected the battery and drove away a beaut!
SOOO MUCH FUN!!!

Looks very nice (you will now be known to me as ‘the crappy car collector’).
I doubt you’ll be interested, but I put someone’s video on here the other day, and some skanky old Ford appears at about the 3 minute mark. I don’t know if it’s like the one that you’ve got.

funny all the talk about wheels. Ass soon as I sw it i thought "mmmmmm slot mags!"
What PCD and centre bore size are the wheels?
Revos would look good, very good.
Did you see the ones on the very old orange S1Griff in sprint about a year ago with the massie offset? They were the best, get them!
(or failing a lotto win, Revos!)
Nice find mate, well done.

Have you tried the usual suspects: AV SR DG....Terminator may have some to swap I think he likes the wolfrace style wheels..shout him up in the classics forum cos I think he's having a clear out!
Your car is probably a late 1974 early 1975 car with those side vents, mines 1975 post factory fire without the side vents, both cars probably sat in showrooms for a while to get the P reg.
Cheers, Glyn.

I should imagine it will be the Ford 108 PCD, I'll measure the centre bore mate. It's funny lots of people have commented on the wheels but I can't stand them!
Any news on your new toy Adam??

Wolfrace are very 1970s but give the car a degree of class, however, I had the same thoughts as you and switched to 15" Compomotives
