Open a dispute, get refund. ebay seriously favours the buyer not the seller.

Just follow this https://pages.ebay.co.uk/ebay-money-back-guarantee...

I would go with "I received an item that does not match the seller's description", as you did get an item delivered.

I'm currently going through the dispute process. I'll let you know how I get on.

I bought a TV box from UK based seller and it's come with a US power supply

The seller claims that it says US plug in the description when it clearly doesn't.

Their "proof" was to email the description having added "US Plug". It's simply not in the description in the ad.

They offer a 30 day return policy, which I've triggered, and they have ignored.

Either there is proof of postage and you can say it's not what you ordered, or there isn't so you can say you haven't received it, either way eBay should side with you I think.

So is the TV a UK TV but he's included a US plug? Or is it a US TV (would it run at 110v?) so can't be used with a UK plug?

It's an android TV box which has a US plug/power supply (ie all in one). New, located in the UK, bought on UK eBay, for delivery to a UK address.

Supplier simply replied that it states US Plug in the description, when it clearly doesn't.

You can make any crap up on eBay or PayPal and they’ll side with the buyer 99% of the time if it comes to them having to make a decision.
