On the A40 , what did I see ?

In between Glos and Oxford....big old bird, didnt get a real decent looks as was driving. A Tanker from Brize maybe ?

Had an "odd" shape and was deffo a big heavy....

Difficult because I didnt really get a very good look, but it appeared to have a squared off belly and maybe wing tanks or something.

I initially thought it was a tanker, but not so sure.

Clearly out of Brize tho.

When was this?

There was an MD11 parked on the Pan during the week. I don't recall seeing anything else out of the ordinary out there this week, just the usual C17s, Voyagers, Hercs etc.

My office overlooks the airfield at Brize.
