Is this a real Cosworth?
Discussion
My son sent me a few pictures of a Sierra Cosworth he saw whilst out and about. It's on a "D" plate and it checks out online as being registered as a Ford Sierra Cosworth. However... I'm certain the rear wheels should fill the arches more than they do in the attached picture. Or were the wheels and tyres really that narrow "back in the day"?

The angle of the picture probably makes the wheel look a bit more lost than it really is, plus the actual arch itself is probably about an inch and half behind the plastic arch, and Sierra rear arches are huge and 205/50/15 tyres are small....
.....So yeah, looks like a Cosworth to me!

The wheels on my 90 H plate 944 really look tucked into the arches. Wheels just didnt fit flush back then, such was the style. Interesting that "tuck" has been floating round the aircooled and i believe watercooled scene for a few years. Maybe the filled out arches is nearing its end days. Everything comes round again with fashion.
