minor oil leak

hi guys i am having a very little oil leak from the front end of my astra h 1.7cdti any idea what it could be?

It's probably from the engine (but might be the gearbox!)

Seriously though it could be from anywhere, sump, crank seal, cam seal, oil filter, head gasket blah blah etc.

It can't be be diagnosed over the Internet without pictures!

Sounds like it could be a small oil leak from the front end of your astra h 1.7 cdti.

How about look roughly where the leak is under your car and take a photo of the suspected area on your car?!

today i started my car but before i did i check oil level which is fine when i started it make a squeaky noise for about 2 seconds but when i first turned on the ignition i realised this light came on for about a second https://gyazo.com/f26a57983b358f28a97ea245d5ef2b67 what does that light mean now that light is gone
