Recommend a mongoose cable 07 l322

When I bought it and took it to a main dealer aftet buying, they said I had 4 pages of error codes, but first they had to flash the instrument cluster, which could break it and would cost £900 if it broke.
I said see you later.
I want to be able to do this myself with a second hand cluster.
Other faults I have are a constant electrical drain on HVAC /entertainment system (if I remove fuses battery is ok).
Steering column won't adjust.
Parking sensors work 30% of the time.
Car is stuck in transport mode (mirrors don't fold when locking car etc. )
From what I have read I need the software and cable that can send signals on the bus, not just read the signals, there seems to be loads of versions.
If anyone does this themselves, what cables / software do you use and what are the limitations of it??
Preferably on of the eBay £30 cables is what I want.
