Sorry another what car thread

So the time has come to change my wife's car and we cant decide between two to the point we both agree that we cant choose which one. So I am asking for help deciding. (mods if this in the wrong place please forgive me and move it)

Car 1 is a BMW x3 2007 60000 miles 2.0d pros it can tow our boat and then some it has 4wd we do live in the countryside and do have to drive on her aunties farm but never had trouble in a fwd car, cons it is older and parts will be more

car 2 is a Peugeot 5008 2011 60000 miles 1.6 hdi pros it is loaded with kit, its newer and has a bigger boot and 2 extra seats Cons it can just tow our boat with the kit in the car. it is loaded with kit made by Peugeot.

both are 5k and just cant make our minds up. so any help would be appreciated

X3 everytime for me. Even though its older it will last longer. Anything French thats 5+ years old will start to fall apart, normally starting with the electrics. Not saying the X3 will be perfect but in the long run it will cost less in during ownership. Obviously fuel and insurance you need to factor in as well. I run an 11 year old BMW and its been spot on so far.
