I have a 1985 Gulf Stream Chevrolet motor home with a 454 engine and 23,500 miles on it. Lots of sitting time in RV Parks. It has 30 gallons fresh gas in it and I tried to drive it yesterday. It drove maybe 20 miles and it stalled in a parking lot. I tried to restart it and it started but stalled again like 5 seconds later even with me trying to coax the gas pedal for faster running. Is there any electronics in 1985 models that might cause this? The engine water is dark brown and needs a radiator flush. Any ideas? It's still in the parking lot where it stalled.

Could be a dying fuel pump.

I’d agree with muck or water blocking the idler jets.
