Hi,

I have an A4 B8 with bluetooth, but it only support voice calls, you can't play music over buletooth.

Lots of searches suggest connecting an adapter to the AMI port in the glove box, but I don't have any sort of socket in there.

I don't have a 3.5mm in the centre console, but I do have a phone plate which I presume you could drop a cradle onto.

It's not a concert nor symphony, above the CD slot it just says Audi CD Changer.

Any advice?

Thanks in advance
Dan

Either retrofit AMI or install a Dension kit (various options depending on features you want and budget).

I'm surprised it hasn't got either as I thought all UK cars had Aux standard with AMI being the upgrade. Audi spec can be odd though and seems to change quite a bit with each model year!

I had a Kufatec Fiscon kit retrofitted in mine (2008 S5) which allowed it stream music over Bluetooth and integrated to the MMI

Navigation on those deleted the standard SD/Aux - AMI remained an option.

Thanks everyone, very useful.

I've worked out I have MMI 2G High, but defo no 3.5mm nor AMI.

How easy is it to fit an AMI interface? And would the software be ok or would that involve updating/upgrading too?

Thanks
