That price is hilarious.
Certainly on the 'optimistic' side, but still £300k lower than the price paid for the Senna auctioned at the launch event when the money was going to the Senna Foundation. There was a big slice of 'charity' in that one, but if one had already sold for £2m, there will be some on here that will claim this ones £1.7m asking price shows the bottom has completely dropped out of the Senna market That price is hilarious.

you never know...there was the black enzo @ amari for £1m and everyone laughed about how overpriced it was at the time, that took 7 years to sell I think

From memory they sometimes claimed the Enzo was 'from Sheikh Amari's personal collection', or some twaddle like that, implying it wasn't for sale. There's an interesting piece in this month's TG about the Senna and McL in general by Chris Harris. He doesn't much like the Senna one bit, but rates the 720. Which is the thrust of his piece; what is McL up to?
Sadly, IMO they're following many other top makers and some private individuals in flooding the LE market. Everyone is at it.

I'm sure he would have sold it for £1m (at the time he could have just bought another for £600k) brought quite a lot of attention to Amari
