Is anybody familiar with this Kent based auction house?
Not a well known name as far as classic cars auctions, but local to me and I am considering to put one of my 1978 Alfa Spiders in to the next auction in November...

They look to be well established with some interesting stock for sale. I see they even sold the E-type which belonged to the writer of the book "Let them Stare" which many of us have bought for the coffee table.

I sold 2 cars in one of their classic auctions last year.
Didn't get as much as I was hoping for but they were excellent and easy to deal with.
They run 2 or 3 non classic auctions every week for standard cars and commercials, quite a few local dealers channel their pxs through there.
I'd use them again if I ever needed to.

Ive chased many classic cars at this type of auction, ive never bought one, they always seem to do telephone numbers

Update:
Hobbs Parker were very good.
They sold 75% of the lots on the day.
Unfortunately not my Spider.

In hindsight I set the reserve too high at 9.5K. OK for a Euro/UK spec but not for an American.

Anyway, listed the car on Car and Classic free ad on Saturday night...chap came down today and bought it...so still got my quick sale, though a bit less than I was hoping for.

The thing is I have two cars in the garage, which is all good for the winter, but one would have to store over the winter in the car port, and I found last winter with the temperature changes that the one in the car port suffered condensation issues, so it is nice to have this car gone. The buyer knew a heck of a lot about 105 series Alfas..he used to race them too....
