Anyone recommend a reasonably priced VAG code reader. One that displays the fault not just code and can reset faults/service indicators. Needed for 2003 Audi TT 3.2.

OBDeleven might be worth a look, I've been tempted to buy one for a while

worth comparing with the Carista Bluetooth OBD2 dongle. I've not compared but think this one is a monthly prescription basis.

OBD11.....

Carista is quite basic I believe, only simple on off switch for things, OBD11 has full VCDS like capability and more.

I used to use VCDS, but actually prefer OBD11 now and sold my VCDS cable. Like I say, it does more, plus it just connects to your phone via bluetooth so I have it with me all the time, no carting around a laptop and trailing cable

It's worth buying a cheap android tablet/phone for using OBDeleven, still be cheaper than full VCDS.

As mentioned earlier though, VCDS LITE (Free download, just needs a £6 ebay cable) will work on an earlier TT.(mk4 platform) for advanced measuring blocks and features you will need to buy a Ross-Tech license. Used to be $99

It's all I used on previous VAG stuff, but I bought OBDeleven when I got the Edition 30 as VCDS lite doesn't work on the mk5 platform.
