Hi folks, any help much appreciated with this.

The brake pad warning sensor on my Golf has come on. I ordered a set using the reg and when they arrived they were too big by a mile.

Got a replacement set which fit fine however the sensor is completely different. My pads have no cables coming off the pad, just what appears to be a small sensor on one of the outside pads. The new pads have a wire with connector coming off it but it's in no way long enough and there's no place to plug it in anyway.

Basically, i'm sick of buying pads to find they are completely wrong.

Has anyone had the same issue and managed to find exactly what the correct pads are required?

Cheers in advance.

Take old pads in and compare with whatever your retailer has in stock.

Or buy them from your local dealer.

Which supplier are you currently using?

I'm using euro car parts. The car is going back so I don't need nor want to be spending a lot on them.
