Difference between services and where to service in W Lond
Discussion
Hi,
I have just committed to a 911 Carrera 4 (2008/Gen 1) Tiptronic.
It needs a service and I can't quite fathom what type of service it needs.
I dont have the service history paperwork for the first 2 services but the 3rd one had an oil change, air filter, brake fluid change 2 years/4k miles ago.
What do I need? I think the drive belts will need to be replaced as they are a little squeeky and I might just get the sparks done because I don't have the actual paperwork.
What is the difference between a minor and major? Not the easiest thing to find...
Also I am based in W11 Notting Hill, any suggestions for a good specialist? It looks like Porsche Torque, 9E and RGA are all good?

Just for info 911virgn use Sid at Porsche Torque for any service/repair jobs on cars they buy in/sell (unless it has to go back to an OPC because of warranty conditions etc) I know he's just down the road from them but I doubt they'd use anyone unless they could depend on the quality of the work done.

Thanks, since posting I have booked in with Porsche Torque as their reputation appears to be very strong.Gassing Station | Porsche General | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
