Morning all.

So. My collection of new parts is growing daily, ready for the inevitable 'winter works'. As part of the refurb, i want to get the old, cracked dash off and pop a new one in with some switch gear that is easier to read. So, I have found some nice and easy to read switches https://www.demon-tweeks.com/uk/trillogy-engraved-... and I am looking at getting a new dash cut rather than spend days trying to prepare the old dash.

I have access to a plasma cutter and any type of sheet metal I want, but all I need is a dxf file to input into the cutter. I've seen one floating about on a site, but I can't remember where or find it again. Any ideas? If not, I'll have to have mine out and plot it myself, but i know its a ball aching job.

Thanks in advance.

Yeah, I know...you can pick up something a LOT cheaper from the bay of fleas but, aesthetically speaking, that is what I am planning on replacing them with.

Same company are cheaper at ebay https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Universal-12v-Engraved-...tongue outf:0&var=631333183128

Also Demon Tweeks are attempting to get rid of their ABS switches and selling them off dirt cheap, it's not a very clever thing to do though is it because now we have an idea how much they are buying them in for

They are nice but be aware they are only rated at 6 amp so will need a relay in some applications.
They are also not a particularly robust switch and I have had some fail.

Should you need it you can get a kit that will give dim or bright illumination. You can then have it dim so you can find it at night and bright when it is switched on.

Car builder solutions sell them but a little more expensive however their catalogue has a lot of useful info such as circuit diagrams for how to wire each switch for different applications.
