Who was that in a white 420 SEAC on the Southbound M1, turned off at J14, yesterday at about 5:30pm? Boy, that was loud...

(I was the one trailering the blue Chimaera - I was on my way back from the TVRCC Speed Championship round at Silverstone.)

Does his have a VMAX sticker on the back?

(Boy, is that exhaust system low, as well as loud ...)

Gorgeous car. And not for retiring types; You should have seen all the faces pressed against windows in the adjacent lanes (it was stationary round J14).

Yes Gavin has VMAX stickers all over the car ..

boy is it loud..

Must take my DB meter along to see how loud his is now..

I measured TrinityCalls over the weekend :

107 db @ 1/2 meter (4500 rpm) .. not bad for a Chim (the weapon of choice) but it did get beaten by my SEAC on the local drag strip

My 1st spotted!!

Chim looked like a serious weapon, I had quite a good look as I went past. I was following the red MX5 (not for long mind) on the way back from Silverstone. Had a really good blat after we got off the M1 carpark.
It wasn't running all that well when you saw it, I've got an intermitant electrical fault that makes it drop onto 7 cyls every now and again. It will get louder when thats fixed.

Rev

Apparently it's also started spitting flames.

Craig

Do I get a discount for advertising VMAX? :begging:

Cheers

You're most welcome. That's a splendid wedge you have there! Couldn't get it up and down my (unsurfaced) driveway though, not with that exhaust.

This is my second year of sprinting. It's a hoot - wish I'd taken it up years ago.

Been to the Pistonheads slalom? I popped over from the sprinting for a quick look at lunch time - looked like a good laugh.

Sounded like it stalled a couple of times ... And I thought you were revving the nuts off it just 'cos of the lovely noise!
