Bsb - Brands Hatch
Discussion
So final round of the series and we have a new rider .
Danny Kent on the halsall suzuki !
Also Paul Bird has signed Brookes for next year so that's going to be a interesting prospect.
I guess with Haslam , Dixon and Shakey out the picture next year who else was left to sign , unless you went for a team of young riders.

Well deserved Leon Haslam and I hope he can take it to the maestro Jonny Rae. Leon is very brave but may lack the 1 or 2 % final polish to beat Rae.
Meanwhile BSB is looking very good for next year. Brookes and Bird need to hit it off for starters. Sincerely hope Shakey gets safely fit and makes a competitive comeback.

You seen shakeys tweet to steve moore as well then , i'll be gutted if they bin bridewell though.
Interestingly, my work buddy is an ex Thundersport winner and knows a fair a bit about the workings of BSB...I said to him a while back, it would be FAF if 67 decided to go with Rapido...
That was after I got over the fact that Birdy dumped 67, after all the years....

What's going on with Ray ? he started off really well and has just fizzled out yet he's re signed for the same team so i assume he's happy with the bike .

Taz and Josh are the standouts for 19 so far,,,,
Great to see Leon wrap it all up before he goes, so close last year and must have obviously been gutted not to win.
Tom Sykes is also weighing up his options including BSB but I think some of that was riding on Birdy giving him a seat.
So with a couple of the front runners disappearing, we have Redding, possibly Sykes and Danny Kent coming in. Maybe another one or two struggling to get world rides as well.

Yea you can just imagine what pb thinks of tom Sykes behind closed doors, wouldn't be pretty. Mediocre performances week in week out, flat washers spring to mind. Tom Sykes is also weighing up his options including BSB but I think some of that was riding on Birdy giving him a seat.

Hopkins was hanging around the team like a bad smell all weekend too, so think he was after a ride. Weird for Shayne, he clearly feels like there is something left, not sure why as he has nothing to prove and a lot to lose.
Great riding by all today, but an odd day, Westmoreland must frustrate the hell out of you, all year then he pulls that out.

The weather must have made for some miserable spectating, but made for some great racing. All credit to those who stopped on and for the ones who lost it yet kept it going.
Westy rode an excellent race but he is a bit of an odd character. Very dramatic prior to the podium and I thought it was initially for what the team had been through during pre-season. It seems that he's struggling to get a ride next season and was hoping to rely on reputation rather than cold hard cash. Its a shame that in some cases it comes down to whoever turns up with the most money rather than the greatest talent but when sponsors are hard to come by, then its what's needed.
Kiyo shouldnt be around the Honda garage anymore, his hunger has gone which was evident from the last occasions he's been on a superbike. There are plenty coming through and there should be always that optimism for younger riders to get seats based on performance.

Looking almost nailed on now that Shakey will be @ Moto Raipod with Tommy...subject to neck scan in a few weeks.
Delighted for Coops, but then then sad to hear he may not have a ride next year...
