Quick question for those in the know!

If a 15 year old was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, would their education and treatment for the issue be the same as that for an adult? My wife is trying to find studies / info on programs for children who have the problem (for her nursing course) but we’re both struggling to find any info irked

Plenty out there for adults with type 1/2, lots for children with type 1, but nothing for children with type 2.

Thanks in advance

I'm quite sure a 15yr old can understand the basics, it isn't rocket science. The NHS day course I went on which was accompanied by a leaflet you took with you was simple enough.
Even I could understand it....

She may find she can request full copies of the journal articles via the college or uni library.

If she needs any more sources, Google Scholar is a good public version of Athens and other academic research portals

Thanks again. Usually we can find these sources/journals/articles etc via google scholar quite easily however for some reason we struggled with this one.
