VW Tiguan Service

Hi All,
I have a VW Tiguan which is telling me that I have 700 miles until it needs to be serviced/oil change. Its on around 18K and I have leased it from new. Do I have to get this work completed by a VW Dealership or can I take it to an independent garage and get them to use OEM parts? Or do I have to check with VWFS who I have my contract with to see if it's in the small print.
