Look behind the driver's seat where you bolt on the seat belts.
You will find the Jig no. the year of built and the S/N.
I dont think you need anything else
I need this info also. 1996 Academy / Scholarship Xflow . Could you be a bit more specific on which tube it is? my seats are difficult to get behind and I dont want to remove them, but they are adjustable about 6" forward. You will find the Jig no. the year of built and the S/N.

Thanks,
Scott
it’s not really behind the seats .
above the drivers side rear wheel arch, at the base of the rollbar, there is a circular boss about 30mm diameter with a threaded hole in it, hole is about 10mm.
stamped into this boss around the hole will be some text.
Probably something like
AM82
J2
arch motors, 1982, Jig 2

Following on from last week I have finally got around to having a closer look at my arch chassis. Thanks for the help with finding the Arch chassis number jig number etc.
As the chassis has never been used and been left in a garage for 26 years it looks in good condition no sign of rust etc. AS A NEWBIE I would appreciate any thoughts on what you think I should do with it.
So I have most of the front / rear suspension dedion etc from caterham so I would really like to try and build it to the 1992 spec (I have the build manual for 1992 it's about 4 inchs thick!!)
What I'm worrying about is making sure it can get through IVA for example I would like to put a x/flow engine in it (I have a zetec silver top but it don't seem write)
Any thoughts would be appreciated

perhaps best to investigate registering the car as an age related - 1992 - so you can change the plate in the future, if yousettle for a 'Q' it is stuck on that for good.
See -
https://www.gov.uk/vehicle-registration/kitconvert...
Get an age-related registration number
You can apply for an age-related number if you can prove you’ve used 2 original major parts along with:
a new monocoque bodyshell, chassis or frame from a specialist kit manufacturer - although 1992 - it's not been used so technically 'new'
an altered chassis, monocoque bodyshell or frame from the original vehicle - NA
The registration number will be based on the age of the original vehicle. - so 1992
Your vehicle must pass the relevant type approval test to get an age-related registration number.
