ADSL ISP Recommendations please...

[slinky]

Afternoon all,

On the hunt for a new BB supplier... requirements are as follows :

1Mb connection (too far away from the exchange to get any more)
15+Gb Cap (normally do about 10Gb a month, but some months are heavier)
Short install lead time
No setup fee (or fee added to "subscription" )
Competitive price..

What are your recommendations folkds?

Cheers,

I use Dcomms at the moment.

Unmetered 512K for £15 a month.

Will be going onto UKonline.nets 8000 service ASAP though.

Thats not a reflection on Dcomms mind, I just want more bandwidth.

I recently had my Pipex solo line upgraded to 1mg for free.

£23.44 a month, no limits or setup fees. It never breaks, and the tech support is great.

Yep, with PIPEX. Upgraded from 512K to 1 Meg for free, no download limit, always has a quick connection, I have never needed tech support. Thoroughly recommended.

I'm orf to Freedom2Surf soon. 2Mb 10Gb for £19.99, no setup etc. Maybe give them a look - rate highly on adslguide.

Without wishing to contravene name and shame - I emplore you, given my recent experience, to avoid a certain ISP whose name could be linked to both Lunar and Solar
