I've got some Sennheiser HD580s, I came to use them the other day and found the left ear wouldnt work. I took them apart and discovered a bug had got in there and eaten a couple of very fine wires in the driver/capsue/speaker wheterver you want to call it.

Now I've managed to source the replacemtnt part but its about £55, any ideas where I could one cheaper? By the way, I'm currently watching a second hand pair on ebay so I've got that option covered.

I have had the exact same problem with mine, try a local electronics shop my replacemnt cable i got just a couple of months ago cast me about 25 quid i think.
